Central to this role is building positive and lasting relationships between Cinnamon Cafe and its clients.

Updates

Muchhhhh better Saizan!!! It's looking really good now.

Thank you so much for all the updates and attending to consistency.

A few things to note:
1. Home pg > remove the About Us page and place the three under the main home page restaurant pic
2. IMAL - you need to submit the new JDs ASAP
3. When you click Services button it takes you to a testimonials page - remove that link
4. food & Beverage menu > Make the 'f'' & 'b'a capital 'F' & 'B'
5. Programs> Re-size the "Buy fresh Buy local"image without cropping it so the entire picture is visible. I understand that it will get smaller from the length, but as long as the height is the same its fine.
6. Programs > where is my introduction to the programs! I submitted a different one! You have replaced it with an introduction to the website.
http://businessedge03.blogspot.com/2013/05/promoting-health-and-nutrition-eat.html
7. Career>Application forms > I like how you've incorporated both into one page with the use of a button. Very nice. However the application form is quite irrelevant. When someone is submitting their personal details through an application, I don't want to know their first name middle name and surname! I want to know who they are, what qualifications they hold, their past corporate experience, their future goals, why they applied to our company and references. These are paragraph answers, so leave a bigger box where they can write up to 100 words each. Please use just one box for full name, address, contact number and so on. ERIC this is your responsibility, see that its done today.
8. Remove link to blank page when you click on career, only enable the career opportunities button to be clicked
9. Staff login> Center align it
10. At the end of the MD's message > Add his name... Line 1: Jeremy Hoffmann Line 2: Managing Director (all in Italics)
11. T&D Programs > I've posted up previously, will email it to you please upload that.
12. Employee blog > Center it and make it smaller so its less blurry
13. IMAL - where is the soup kitchen roster!!! I created this for you and sent it also! Couldn't you just forward it to Saizan once the names where filled?
14. Contact us > the page looks great now!! :) Thank you for creating a FB page as well for us!

Good job Saizan!!

Once this list is completed by today, we should be good to go!

Thank you so much!!

Hello People

Regarding your comments.

Ashanthi

Suggested pictures is uploaded and linked to related pages. please do let me know if you have any other suggestion and appreciate you feedback.

Imashi

- 6Th program is posted and linked to relates pages.
- we cant make anyother changes to the main header except its colours therefor i am trying to find a way to post our logo in a good way.
- Consistency - will re-touch the website once all the changes are made because if not i have to touch the layout again and again. ( This include adding more related things to make website more professional)

- To make pages like mission statements  more professional we should use more images and stuff since wix is a very basic aplication which we cant create things just like other  programs. However as you said we can do things within availabale features of it.

- Most importantly we should think technical side of wix.com- This allow us to use total 10mb of pictures so i have to adjust the size of the pictures and reduce the total size before we incorporate to the web so i might have to use different pictures other then what you all have suggested because when we reduce the size  it looks dull.

- Please give me the complete floor of staff page.

Thank you and appreciate your continuous suggestions.

Erick

-  the form you have created is good but it is difficult post in  the web. So do you think you can do a simple once again ?

-  http://businessedge03.blogspot.com/2013/05/career-opportunities.html - in this page i have seen some comments which has been made by our team. are you going to make any changes or do we have to upload as it is ?

Thank you

Sujani

- i have uploaded your part as well and i am waiting for your comments..please do give your suggestion to all the other part as well if you have any.

Thank you.

Saizan,

1. Please grant me access to the website. Want to see if I can help you out. Things seem slow from your end.

2. Some amendments which I've been repeating for the past week:

a. Programs: still waiting for the 6th one
http://businessedge03.blogspot.com/2013/05/with-regard-to-1st-aspect-of-our.html
b. Values comes under both the Vision & Mission statement.
Also try to get the statement to look more professional and consistent, check out ideas below:

c. Ashanthi's last program is not linked. Also the About us page has to be removed and the 3 categories placed below the main page image, as discussed.
d. Contact us: Instead of saying 'Add us on FB' say 'Connect with us' and add the following image:
Also, it looks a bit empty. Lets add her in there

e. Everyone (except Imal) has uploaded the Employee page details. So lets get those information up. Its all images. Shouldn't take long.
> When the employee login button is clicked take the employee to a page similar to Programs.
f. Please coordinate with Eric about the Career page. Don't leave any issues for the last minute. If you need it done on Ms Word, let him know ASAP.

Please get this done today and revert to me.

Thanks!

MD's Message

Welcome to Cinnamon Cafe!

We began our journey in the restaurant industry in December 2012 and saw the rapid growth of the Cinnamon chain of cafes from Colombo to Hikkaduwa, Trincomalee and Galle. Our end goal was to provide our customers with the "ultimate Sri-Lankan experience" and provide them with the most wholesome meal whilst enabling our own local farmers to grow in the industry.

We could only achieve such a goal due to the patronage of our parent company "Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts". This partnership helps us to attain our focus of development and total commitment to quality an a service like no other in the hospitality sector.

We look forward to further growth and are optimistic about our future in the sector as we have a firm foundation to rely on an realistic dream to look forward to. While we focus on growth and development we at Cinnamon Cafe also focus our attention on nurturing our local community and villages. We have numerous ongoing social sustainability projects to uplift the under privileged youth in the rural village areas by equipping them with the required qualification to pursue their career in the hospitality trade at no cost whatsoever. Through our projects we continue to progress and deliver to the industry the highest caliber of young professionals.

Thank you for visiting our website, which I believe truly reflects the culture, professionalism and vibrancy of Cinnamon Cafe and I sincerely hope you will visit our Cafe and enjoy all it has to offer. As said in our Mission Statement, our goal is..
To inspire and nurture the human spirit, the "Sri-Lankan way" - One person, one meal and one village at a time.

Everyone, please, I need blog comments!

I've mentioned the next set of allocations for the employee webpages and the deadline, yet not one has even acknowledged seeing the post! Its difficult to manage a team when you don't get feedback.

Please spare 5 minutes of your time everyday to write something there.

We really need to get the website and slides ready by Thursday latest so we can show it to Miss Ayami and get her valuable feedback. Please, lets try and stick with the deadlines.

Thanks and good luck with the rest of your assignments!!

Saizan, this is to acknowledge the website updates on the Programs page. Nicely done.

However, please attend to the following:
1. Making the world a better place - this is aligned to the left. Please adjust the alignment so the paragraph and pictures fit the whole page.
2. The Soup Kitchen - not linked to the information
3. The 6th Program was written and submitted by Sujani earlier. Its about 'waste management'. Please find that post and add that message in with a picture.
4. Lets make the pictures the same size for consistency.

Hey Ash, can't seem to comment to your post, it just doesn't submit! So i'm writing this as a comment to your blog post:

Whoa Ash!! I didn't expect this!! You must have really learnt up every corner of the company to every detail for this. Well done! Quite professional indeed! :)

Does JKH currently work on any SS Programs of its own? Its best to mention these for current programs of JKH in the presentation and only briefly touch on the industries as its too factual.

Saizen, I suggest you split the About us to the following pages:
> Cinnamon Cafe
> Corporate History
> Our Focus Industries

Ash, I'm worried if the focus industries part will contain too much information... be cluttered...
Saizen, lets try to do the same as SS Programs layout for this. So when 'Focus Industries' tab is opened, first only the topics with the pic is visible. I.e. > Consumer Foods & image > Financial Services & image > IT & image etc. That way only if the user is interested they can click on the industry and read about it.

Thanks for the website updates Saizan. As per our telephone conversation, lets edit the layout of the SS programs so that we don't cluster the pages with too much information and its widely spread.

Our people

Making the world a better place

The Soup Kitchen

Promoting health and nutrition

Sustainable sourcing

So lets leave a picture link to all the 6 programs under the Introduction to SS program page as above. So each click will take the user only to that particular program.

Let me know when its done. Thank u.

For others who have submitted already, keep up the good work! Now let's start on the slides.

Also, we need to after this start designing the layout of the employee website interface. Not too detailed, but need everyone to contribute.
